The victim was being harassed over several months by Ravi, who also used to send her obscene messages, police said.
Her relatives had complained to Ravi's family members several times, they said.
Last night, Ravi's relatives visited the victim's house and made several allegations against her. Upset over this, the girl locked herself up in her room and set herself ablaze, they said.
Hearing her screams, neighbours and family members broke down the door but till then the girl had succumbed, they said.
Meanwhile, another 14-year-old girl, who was reportedly undergoing treatment for mental disorder, cut her wrist and then hanged herself, police said.
