Vaani Kapoor to don Alexis Mabille at 'Befikre' trailer launch

Actress Vaani Kapoor will be wearing a creating by internationally-acclaimed designer Alexis Mabille at the trailer launch of her upcoming film "Befikre" here tonight.
The 28-year-old actress, who made her Bollywood debut with "Shuddh Desi Romance", is paired up with Ranveer Singh for the first time in the Aditya Chopra-directed romantic comedy.
The trailer launch will take place at the first floor of the Eiffel Tower and Vaani will be sporting a dark rich shade evening wear by the designer, who has in the past worked with Hollywood celebrities like Lea Seydoux, Keira Knightley and Katy Perry.
Mabille is known for his structured cuts and solid, post modern style. He collaborated with the houses of Dior and YSL before starting his own label.

Celebrity favourite Indian designer Nikhil Thampi and Mohit Rai have styled Vaani's look.
"Vaani defines modernity so, when Mohit and I were roped in to channel her personality in the form of fashion, we went with what Vaani is in real life. She is modern, minimalistic yet impactful, secure and she believes in herself.

"This gave us immense clarity but also made our job challenging as we wanted her personality to stand out more than what she wears," Thampi told PTI.
He added that the 28-year-old actress is a "great canvas" for stylists and designers.
"She is tall, statuesque and beautiful and she is a great canvas to work on for stylists and designers like us. Our plan of action is to slowly help her crave a niche for herself by keeping her personality and comfort in the forefront ."

The trailer will be launched by the lead pair along with the Mayor of Paris tonight. It is the first time that a film event is taking place at the iconic monument of the city of romance.
"Befikre" will hit theatres in India on December 9.
