"28 companies of Rajasthan Armed Constabulary in adequate number have been deployed across the state for the festival of Dussehra, Muharram. Besides, every district will have deployment of Home Guards," ADG Law and Order N R K Reddy said.
He said regular checking at railway stations, bus stands, inns is going on to and night patrolling has also been started.
"The police are on alert in the festival season and the security has been beefed up across the state. Additional police deployment has been made at sensitive places," he said.
