Another case has been filed against a group of students of the Government-run varsity who allegedly assaulted the Professor, Devender, over the harassment issue, Cyberabad Police said today.
The faculty member was booked yesterday on a complaint filed by some students, who alleged he was harassing girl students and sought necessary action, KPHB Police Station Inspector V Sreekanth Goud said.
The academician has been charged with outraging the modesty of women, police said.
Meanwhile, Devender, too, lodged a complaint with the police accusing some students of beating him up over the matter. Following this, police today registered a case against a group of students, the Inspector said.
