Addressing a gathering in Sujanpur area, he said, "From the time, election campaigning has begun, every leader is talking big, but no one is looking at the problems and issues related to women in this constituency."
"My promise is to bring many projects that will be focused on making women self-dependent and employed," Khanna said, adding that, making women financially independent is the key to the growth of this country and prosperity of the region.
He promised the women voters that he will work on getting many small scale and handicrafts industries to the region once the BJP government comes to power in the Centre.
"There will be scholarship programmes for girls who are unable to continue their studies due to economic backwardness, so that women contribute towards equal prosperity of the society," Khanna said.
