This was announced by LDF convener Vaikom Viswan after a meeting of the coalition leaders here this evening.
Viswan said the hartal call is being given to register people's protest over the "unilateral decision of the Centre" in the matter.
The Centre had given the direction to the state without consulting it or having any interaction with people who would be seriously affected by implementation of the report, Viswan said.
