Waiter held for filming Russian girl sleeping in hotel room

A hotel waiter was arrested for filming a Russian girl when she was sleeping in her room in Kausambi area of Ghaziabad.
The 23-year-old Russian girl, along with her guide Pradeep Kumar, checked in at the hotel situated in front of Pacific Mall in Kausambi area late on Thursday night and booked two rooms separately for them, police said today.
The girl had come to the hotel after her visit to Germany.
When the girl was sleeping in her room, the waiter, identified as Sunil, a resident of Sidarthnagar area of Ghaziabad, tiptoed into the girl's room by swapping the hotel card and started filming her on his mobile phone while she was sleeping, a senior police officer said.

As he was shooting the video, the girl suddenly noticed somebody filming her beside her bed and raised an alarm, following which the hotel staff and other room occupants rushed towards her room, he said.
Sunil was overpowered by other room inmates and handed over to the police.
Based on a complaint by the girl, police arrested Sunil.
"We have arrested Sunil for shooting her video on his phone. He was arrested under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code," said Rajesh Diwedi, station house officer of Indirapuram police station.
