Social activist Anna Hazare today said he could not heed to the invitation extended by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to visit the Delhi secretariat as he was "pre-occupied" and had meetings the whole day.
Hazare said that he would visit the Secretariat the next time he visits the national capital.
Kejriwal, who met his "guru" yesterday after a gap of almost two years at the Jantar Mantar yesterday, had invited the Gandhian activist to visit the Delhi secretariat and address the officials.
"Actually I was pre-occupied and did not have the time to go there. However, next time whensoever I would come to Delhi, I would definitely go to the Secretariat. I have also informed Arvind (Kejriwal) about this," Hazare said.
Sources said, Hazare had decided to meet Kejriwal today, but later changed his mind. The 77-year old activist also addressed a group of people at Jantar Mantar, who could not make it to the protests yesterday.
He also held a series of meetings lined up to chalk out a plan of action on how to go ahead with the agitation called against the Ordinance on the Land Acquisition Act.
Aam Aadmi Party sources said that although Hazare had accepted Kejriwal's invitation, they were skeptical that the social activist would visit the Delhi Secretariat.
