Wasnik made convenor of Cong committee for TN, Puducherry
Press Trust of India New Delhi Congress General Secretary Mukul Wasnik was today appointed the Convenor of the Coordination Committees for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry at a time when the Lok Sabha polls are not far away and the party is in search of allies.
Tamil Nadu PCC Chief B S Gnanadesikan, as also four other leaders, including Kumari Anandhan and N R Rangarajan, are members of the coordination committee for the state.
Congress also announced a 14-member Pradesh Election Committee for Puducherry with A V Subramaniam as its chairman. V Vaithlingam and P Kannan and union minister V Narayansamy are among the members, party general secretary Janardan Dwivedi announced.
