Wasnik made convenor of Cong committee for TN, Puducherry

Congress General Secretary Mukul Wasnik was today appointed the Convenor of the Coordination Committees for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry at a time when the Lok Sabha polls are not far away and the party is in search of allies.
Tamil Nadu PCC Chief B S Gnanadesikan, as also four other leaders, including Kumari Anandhan and N R Rangarajan, are members of the coordination committee for the state.
Congress also announced a 14-member Pradesh Election Committee for Puducherry with A V Subramaniam as its chairman. V Vaithlingam and P Kannan and union minister V Narayansamy are among the members, party general secretary Janardan Dwivedi announced.
