WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 2,142.00 cr on NSE

Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 2,142.00 crore in 46 trades.
Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:
The 7.28 per cent government securities maturing in CG2019 traded value at Rs 1000.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.40 per cent, the 8.60 per cent government securities maturing in CG2028 traded value at Rs 100.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.10 per cent and the 8.12 per cent government securities maturing in CG2020 traded at Rs 75.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.54 per cent.
During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 11022.54 crore and the total number of trades was 307.
The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs 3,437.10 crore as on November 10, while the lowest was Rs 1,370.20 crore as on November 7.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years quoted at 6.40 per cent, 6.64 per cent, 6.76 per cent and 7.07 per cent, respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing for 183-365 days was 6.43 per cent.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on WDM was Rs 5,584.84 crore, representing 50.67 per cent of the total traded value.
Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 5,437.70 crore, representing 49.33 per cent, an NSE release said.
