West, who became a father with girlfriend Kim Kardashian recently, had apologised to the then rising Swift for interrupting her acceptance speech midway but in the expletives-laden audio, the rapper justified his stunt, reported Ace Showbiz.
"Because I wrote my verse in two days, Taylor Swift cannot beat Beyonce," West says in the audio, which was recorded while he was having dinner with friends at the Corner Bistro in New York's West Village after the awards ceremony.
The audio clip, obtained by Gawker, is still unverified. West's camp has not reacted yet.
