The MeT office here said that Thakurdwara received 110mm rainfall followed by Aligarh with showers of 90mm.
And, while Fursatganj, Badaun and Baheri recorded 60mm showers each, Dhampur and Mauranipur both received 50mm.
Central Water Commission sources, meanwhile, said that the Ganga was flowing above the red mark at Ballia while Yamuna had crossed the danger level at Hamirpur and Chilla ghat in Banda.
The Betwa was flowing above the red mark at Jalaun and Hamirpur while Sharda remained above the danger level at Palia Kalan. Ghaghra was above the red mark at Elgin Bridge and Turtipar in Ballia.
Heavy showers were likely at one or two places in the coming 24 hours, the MeT office added.
In what has been a heavy monsoon so far in the state, a total of 172 lives have been lost in rain-related incidents, according to the office of the relief UP relief commissioner.
