AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal today said if his party formed the government at the Centre, it would decentralise power to solve the Kashmir and Naxal problems.
"Kashmir is an integral part of India. In addition to the short-term use of security force, AAP believes in long-term approach of decentralisation and devolution of power which would give people of Kashmir the ability to make decision for their own development," he said at the launch of the party's mainfesto ahead of Lok Sabha elections.
He also pitched for dialouge involving all parties and effective political decentralisation to put an end to the Naxal problem.
"Long-term solution to Naxalite issue requires that deeper political and socio-economic grievance of the region be addressed.
"Apart from modernising our security forces, our approach would be rooted in multi-lateral dialogue, social and economic development and effective political decentralisation," the manifesto stated.
The party also advocated review of laws like AFSPA and making them more time-bound and "humane".
He said impunity should not be given in cases of sexual violence against women by members of the armed forces.
