The feature film is expected to begin at "the start of the ex-president's second term when he falls into dementia and an ambitious intern is tasked with convincing the commander in chief that he is an actor playing the president in a movie", reported Variety.
The story has been penned by Mike Rosolio. It became so popular after making it into "The Black List" that Lena Dunham and John Cho did a live read in March.
He was last seen on the big screen in "Zoolander 2". His next feature films include "The Lego Movie Sequel", "Daddy's Home 2", "Zeroville" and "The House".
