Woman and 3 children die in suspected arson attack in Sweden

Swedish police say they have arrested a man on suspicion of killing a 35-year-old woman and three young children by torching their apartment in the southwestern city of Goteborg.
Police spokesman Thomas Fuxborg today said before the fatal fire the victims apparently suffered some violent crime as they bore "injuries on their bodies not related" to the fire.
He said they found a dead child and woman on arrival at the apartment. One child died on the way to the hospital in the ambulance, the other in hospital. The children were aged 2 to 8.
Officers were alerted to the scene on Thursday morning after neighbors saw smoke billowing from the apartment. Police gave no further information about the victims or the suspected perpetrator.
