Woman commits suicide unable to bear organiser's harassment
Press Trust of India Sivaganga A woman working at an anganwadi centre in this district allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a well unable to bear the harassment of the noon meal organiser, police said today.
The deceased woman's brother said a complaint had been lodged with police as she had problems at the workplace and was suffering from mental agony for the past few weeks.
He demanded action against the organiser.
The woman, a mother of two children and working as an assistant at the centre near Thirubhuvanam, allegedly committed suicide by jumping into the well last evening.
A revenue divisional inquiry has been ordered into the death, police added.
