Woman drug peddler arrested from Punjab

A woman drug peddler was arrested from Baghapurana near here and 260 grams of heroin having street value of Rs 1.50 crore was seized from her possession, police said today.
Acting on a tip off, police raided the house of Rajni Bala located on Mudki road at Baghapurana and recovered the contraband from her yesterday, they said.
During her initial interrogation, the accused told police that she was into drug smuggling for the past five years.
The accused used to bring the drug from Rajasthan and then supplied it to her customers here, police said.
She has been booked under the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act) Act, they said.
