The body of Santosh, wife of Kamal kishore, was recovered from a water tank in Magra area of Barmer.
The in-laws of the woman said she committed suicide. Her parents, however, alleged that she was murdered by the in-laws for dowry and they dumped the body into the water tank, police said.
The body has been sent to the district hospital for postmortem, police said, adding that the matter is being probed.
