On June 13, Anita alongwith her lover Shamim strangulated Brijnath to death and threw his body at an isolated place, police said.
To avoid to be suspected in the case, on July 2, she registered a missing report of her husband at Loni police station.
Shamim's cousin Irfan who helped them in the crime is still on the run, Loni police station SHO Brijmohan Yadav said, adding he will be arrrested soon.
Brijnath's father has pointed a finger at Anita's role in the crime, they added.
"On Tuesday, when Anita was strictly interrogated, she broke down and confessed to her crime," Yadav said
"Brijesh's body was thrown at an isolated place on Khadkari-Ghitora Marg in Ghaziabad," he added.
