Woman succumbs, death toll in road accident touches 12

Deena Devi, who was referred to the PGI, died today raising the number of fatalities to 12, said Balak Ram, SHO Shillai.

Yesterday, 11 people were killed and 15 injured when an overcrowded multi-utility vehicle carrying locals plunged into a gorge near Timbi at Shillai, police said.

All the 11 people, including the driver, who died yesterday, were cremated today, the SHO said.
