Wonder Woman Lynda Carter to join 'Supergirl' cast
Press Trust of India Los Angeles "Wonder Woman" star Lynda Carter has joined the cast of "Supergirl".
The 64-year-old actress, who brought the Amazonian superheroine to life on the small screen, will play the president of the United States on the sophomore season of the CBS-turned-CW drama starring Melissa Benoist, said The Hollywood Reporter.
She will make her first appearance in episode three of season two.
"Supergirl" marks Carter's first TV role in a two years. She last guest-starred on "Two and a Half Men" in 2013, playing herself.
Carter is the second high profile casting for the series after "Teen Wolf" star Tyler Hoechlin was roped in to play Superman/Clark Kent.
