Wonderchef gets Rs 30 cr funding from Zurich-based Capvent

Kitchen appliances and cookware maker Wonderchef has received an investment of Rs 30 crore from Zurich-headquartered investment firm Capvent to expand its manufacturing and distribution.
The amount would be spend to create a powerful brand in kitchen appliances and design improvement, Wonderchef Home Appliances said in a statement.
Commenting on the development Wonderchef Managing Director, Ravi Saxena said:" We are delighted to partner with Capvent, a fund known for its high quality team and a strategic outlook towards building brands and businesses".

NTPC signs MoU for skill development
* State-run NTPC has signed its second MoU in a span of two months with the National Skill Development Fund (NSDF) and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
The MoU, which is a corporate responsibility initiative towards skilling India was signed in the presence of Power Minister Piyush Goyal and Skill Development Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy in Patna today.
Under the tripartite agreement NTPC will contribute its CSR funds to support a project to skill 25,000 persons. All programs offered will be aligned to the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF), which organizes qualifications according to a series of levels of knowledge, skills and aptitude.
