"Along with other strategic investors, a total of USD 4.5 million is invested in KaHa, which will help drive the IoT companys expansion plans," the company said in a statement here.
Funding was led by Metals International with the participation of Jungle Ventures, SPRING SEEDS Capital, Singapore, and existing investor YourNest.
KaHa is focussing on further growing its leadership position by opening an innovation centre in Geneva, which will be one of the biggest innovation centres for watches, it said.
The company also announced a partnership with Titan.
Recently Titan launched its first offering on KaHa platform, the "Titan WE" smartwatches for woman, it said.
KaHa provides fully-customisable, end-to-end smart wearables IoT solutions that can be plugged into any stage of the value chain, it said.
Their products include electronics design, PCBA, an application framework for iOS and Android, cloud services, data analytics and smart after sales service tools - allowing companies to incorporate the latest technology without breaking the bank.
KaHa has also partnered with MHA Geneva, a Swiss luxury accessories manufacturer with more than 110 years history, to enter European market for further business expansion, it said.
