Youth arrested for killing aunt he was infatuated with

A youth who had allegedly gunned down his maternal aunt he was infatuated with in Trilokpuri locality of East Delhi on Monday has been arrested, police said today.
Raja was apprehended yesterday from Anand Vihar ISBT after police received a tip off about his movements.
One of his friend, Vicky, was also arrested for helping him hide the murder weapon, a .315 bore country-made pistol, which was recovered with three live cartridges from Karkardooma Institutional Area.
During interrogation, Raja admitted that he was infatuated with his maternal aunt Kavita, but she rejected his proposal and informed her husband and family members about it.

"Following this, Raja was scolded by his maternal uncle and other family members. This enraged him and he decided to eliminate Kavita," Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Ajay Kumar said.
