Youth booked for harassing girl in UP

A youth has been booked for allegedly harassing a girl in Biral village under Budhana police station here, police said.
One Vikas was booked yesterday under relevant sections of the IPC for harassing the girl, after she attempted suicide by consuming poison four days ago, police said.
The victim is admitted to a hospital.
On the complaint of the victim's brother, a case was registered against Vikas, they said.
A search is on to nab Vikas, police said, adding, an investigation is on.
