A 21-year-old youth allegedly
committed suicide in Malkapur village of the district by hanging himself from a tree, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when Shridesh Rathod, a resident Malkapur under Patur tehsil, hanged himself from a tree at his agriculture field yesterday, a Patur police station officer said.
The deceased left the house on Saturday informing his parents that he was going to the field but did not return.
When Shridesh did not return by night his parents went to search him at his field and found him dead, the officer said.
Police is investigating the matter and trying to ascertain the reason behind the suicide.
