Jalna district and sessions judge Ashutosh N Karmarkar, who convicted Ravi Ashok Ghumare on Wednesday, pronounced the sentence today.
According to the prosecution, the incident had taken place on March 6, 2012, when Ghumare raped and murdered the girl in Indiranagar locality of Jalna city, after luring her with a chocolate.
