Youth murdered near house in outer Delhi

A 23-year-old youth was allegedly murdered close to his house in outer Delhi's Vijay Vihar area last night, police said today.
The deceased identified as Vikas Kumar was found lying in a pool of blood in the service lane behind his house a couple hours after he had stepped out of his house following a call from his friend around 10 pm.
His family was informed about the incident by a security guard after which he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
"The circumstantial evidence suggested that Kumar had a scuffle with someone after which he was bludgeoned with a heavy object. Initial investigations indicate toward involvement of the friend who had called him to meet. We are investigating his call record details," a police official said.

Police has registered a case of murder and are investigating the case.
Kumar had got married three months ago and was looking after family business, police said.
