Officials said the incident occurred yesterday when CISF sleuths detected suspicious movements of a flier identified as Zambian Mwenda Paul, who arrived at the airport terminal to board a flight to Addis Ababa.
They said Paul was chosen for detailed frisking after which about 35kgs of the banned drug was recovered from his baggage, cleverly hidden in thigh pads, a cricketing gear.
Paul, who was on a business visa to India, was later handed over to anti-narcotics sleuths who arrested him.
