The stock soared 7.13 per cent to settle at Rs 447.50 on BSE. Intra-day, it zoomed 7.61 per cent to Rs 449.50 , its 52-week high.
On NSE, the scrip jumped 7.26 per cent to close at Rs 447.95.
On the volume front, 8.13 lakh shares of the company changed hands at BSE and over one crore shares were traded at NSE during the day.
Yesterday, Zee Entertainment Enterprises reported a 13 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 260.61 crore for the March quarter.
ZEEL's total income on consolidated basis increased 13.70 per cent to Rs 1,531.62 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 1,347.05 crore in the same period last year.
