Rupee flat, custodian banks sell dollars

The rupee is trading at 61.4050, almost unchanged versus its previous close of 61.3950/4050.

 

Custodian banks are selling dollars for their foreign fund clients.

 

Gains in shares are supporting the rupee, with the 50-share Nifty up 0.2%.

 

Most Asian currencies trading weaker against the dollar.
