The move will aid in better channel partner management and enhance its reach among SMEs. As part of this campaign, the company showcased its newly launched products in Chandigarh.

Shailendera Sarup, associate director, Channels, Office Business Group, Xerox India Ltd , said the newly launched products targeted the fast growing SMEs which were expected to spend Rs 5,600 crore on printing and printing supplies in 2008, according to a report by AMI partners.

Sarup added Xerox India had identified 16 small cities for expansion.

Sumant Bhatia, Marketing Manager, Channel Programmes and Distribution, Office Business Group, Xerox India, said in Thiruvanantham: "We are moving in line with market studies and in the south, Xerox India will soon have a lot of new channel partners who would work with us in zeroing in on more SMEs. Xerox India, through its channel partners, would aim at reaching the SME community via retail outlets, value-added resellers, niche customers, and systems integrators."
