Crossing Limits

We dont buy the argument that the securities scam and the other scams are the handiwork of pen pushers of the RBI or any other bank. Such evil designs are hatched and executed by the high clerics in the sanctum sanctoram of the highest echelons of the nation.

To attribute all good things to deregulation, computerisation, liberalisation of the government policies and all evils to the working class, peasantry and other lesser mortals is the age old sleight of hand of the ruling fortunates when their designs go awry. They dont go in for the rectification of the inherent defects of the system. So Sukh Rams will go abroad in flying colours.

These are facts, not fiction. Mumbai will not be flooded with RBI clerks if unfilled vacancies of the bank are filled up. Indian streets are teeming with millions of poor, homeless, destitutes, diseased and hungry, the hand work of those who ruled us after the British. The RBI pen pushers are not even a drop in the ocean.

The intention of this piece is to alert those who are really asleep. Even magnanimity has a limit.
