Indian Oil Corporation has commissioned a crude oil pipeline linked to the Panipat refinery. Crude was pumped into the pipeline at Chaksu pump station near Jaipur on November 17.
The refinery will receive crude through the 345.7 km pipeline on November 30.
This is the final phase of the Panipat refinery-linked pipeline projects.

Earlier, other facilities like installation of second single point mooring system in the Gulf of Kutch and augmentation of Salaya-Viramgam section of the existing Salaya-Mathura pipeline were completed.
The crude oil received at Vadinar terminal in the Gulf of Kutch will be delivered to Panipat refinery alongwith deliveries to the Gujarat and Mathura refineries.
