Major Fir At Kothari Group Offices
The blaze broke out in the `Kothari Building' twice within hours, the second one in the afternoon. The first flames were doused in less than an hour. Firemen fought for over three hours to put out the second blaze.
According to fire service officials, the blaze was first noticed at 10.50 am in the third floor, the office of Kothari Sugars & Chemicals Ltd.
The company's chairman, Bhadrashyam Kothari's office, board room and meeting hall were among those destroyed by the fire.
