Pal-Peugeot Lockout May End Next Week

After start of production, the company plans to launch a diesel version of Peugeot 309 soon.

Workers will rejoin after signing an individual undertaking and pledging themselves to adhere to the terms of the 1994 settlement.

The company also plans to come out with a new model in December 1997 which could be a multi-purpose vehicle.

The company witnessed 70,000 cancellations of the Peugeot 309.

The bookings now stand at 40,000, of which it has sold 2,000 cars so far.
