Ruling Telugu Desam MLA B Rajamallu was arrested on Saturday night in Karimnagar district for allegedly creating public nuisance in an inebriated condition at Chinnakalwala village in the district. According to a complaint lodged by some villagers, Rajamallu, who represents Peddapally constituency, went to the village along with his followers on Friday night and abused people for voting for Congress in the recent Lok Sabha elections. They alleged that the legislator was in an inebriated condition and his gunmen also misbehaved with people. Rajamallu is to be produced before the court today, the police said here.
