In the last over, the RCB needed 24 to win and in the end could manage only 12, leading to an 11-run loss. Courtesy of this, their losing streak has now stretched to three matches. The Giants though are off the mark with this win. 

 

Chasing the target of 202, Bangalore had more than a decent start as Sophie Devine and Smriti Mandhana added 54 for the first wicket in just 5.1 overs. However, after the fall of this wicket, there were not many considerable partnerships and as the required run rate started to rise, the pressure mounted and Bangalore could only reach as far as 190/6

 

Earlier in the evening, after winning the toss and electing to bat first, Gujarat Giants scored 201/7 in their designated 20 overs. Sophia Dunkley and Harleen Deol scored the fifties.
