Delhi-based real estate company Parsvnath Developers has asked the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) to restrain from allocating radio frequency till the Delhi High Court disposes the case.

The company had moved the High Court after its application was "disqualified" by DoT.

Parsvnath Developers' application for 22 circles was rejected on January 10, 2008, on grounds that telecom-related activities were not mentioned in the company's memorandum and articles of association.

The company moved the High Court, which in an interim order, upheld that the "seniority of the petitioner" (Parsvnath) should be considered while allocating radio waves.
