Four information technology (IT) companies have been accorded permission to set up offices in different IT special economic zones (SEZ) in the state. The permission was given at the Unit Approval Committee meeting of the AP IT SEZs development commissioner held on Monday.

According to Information Technology and Communications Department secretary K Ratna Prabha, Object Technology Solutions, NHR Sourcing and SMOP Infotech Private Limited have been accorded permission to open their offices at Phoenix Infocity, DLF Assets and Indu Technology SEZs in Hyderabad respectively. The three companies together sought 40,000 sft of office space and proposed to provide employment to 1,798 persons.
