BlackBerry develops application for IMS

BlackBerry has developed an application called Study Buddy for the students of management entrance training IMS in association with mobile service provider company Vodafone. 

This BlackBerry app offers mock tests for premier MBA entrance exams such as CAT and CMAT.

The app also includes placement tests used by leading IT and other organizations for campus recruitments. Study Buddy app is developed by Omni-Bridge Systems, and is available for download on BlackBerry App World.

Commenting on this, Sunil Dutt, Managing Director, India, Research In Motion, remarked, “Using your phone while studying was traditionally viewed as counter-productive, but on Wednesday we see mobile technology empowering students.

"Study Buddy offers tests based on variable difficulty levels depending on the preparedness of the candidate. The Study Buddy back end engine has a wide variety of questions in its bank that are randomly selected based on the difficulty levels related to the various entrance exams practiced by a student, " said Kamlesh Sajnani, MD, IMS.
