The state owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has slashed the price of 3G data card in a bid to rope in more customers. “The price of the 3G data card has been reduced from Rs 3800 to Rs 2500. This will help us to rope in more customers interested in high speed internet connection”, Balaram Pal, General Manager (mobile), Orissa circle, said.
Introduced as a promotional scheme, it would remain in force for 2 months. The speed of internet connection would be one GB during the day time and 5 GB during the night with the download speed being up to 2 MB. The customers would be allowed 6 GB download free of cost. The company would sell recharge vouchers of different denominations starting from Rs 275 up to Rs 2499. The offer will be applicable both for the pre-paid and post paid subscribers, the official added.
Any customer having a blackberry handset can avail the blackberry services.
