The new edition of the directory called the Phone Book-2004, which was unveiled here on Tuesday, is corrected up to December 31, and it has been printed in two volumes, business and residential.
The directory has been launched in association with Indiacom Yellow Pages.
"The Business Phone Book-2004 contains the business numbers alphabetically as also the Yellow Pages and government connections in blue pages. We have tried to provide all information related to services and their provisioning in information pages included in the residential volume. We shall be coming up with a Gujarati version of the Phone Book-2004 with Indiacom," said Pradeep Kumar, chief general manager of BSNL's Gujarat circle.
BSNL and Indiacom also have launched the phone book in compact disc format for computer-savvy telephone users.
The phone book has entries corresponding to 5,48,121 customers of BSNL and it covers the all nine circles of the Ahmedabad telecom district.
