Dow Corning chooses Cognizant for its ERP initiatives

Cognizant Technology Solutions has announced that Dow Corning Corporation, a leader in silicon-based technology, products and solutions, has selected Cognizant for its ERP and CRM initiative for optimising its supply chain network.

Dow Corning decided to standardise its ERP and CRM systems on the SAP NetWeaver platform across multiple locations, and selected Cognizant to collaboratively optimise its value chain network across 48 geographies and sites, a company release said.

Cognizant would implement a large-scale mySAP CRM 5.0 system, which will be tightly integrated with SAP's next generation NetWeaver platform.

Leveraging its long-standing relationship with Dow Corning across consulting, application development, application maintenance and other SAP engagements, Cognizant will be combining its manufacturing industry intelligence, systems expertise and global functional and technical resources to help Dow Corning build this value chain network.
