e-Seva, IDEA ally to offer ChitChat cards

Consumers can now buy IDEA chitchat & recharge coupons through 40 e-Seva centres spread all across the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

According to a press release the same service will be extended to all the 110 e-Seva centres in the rest of the state as early as next week. J C Mohanty, Principal Secretary, Information Technology & Communications Department, announced the launch of the service at Khairtabad e-Seva centre. This is the 122nd service which e-Seva is offering and IDEA Cellular is seventh private sector to join hands with e-Seva.

IDEA Cellular is also expected to benefit with this association as it will provide easy accessibility to the company's products to the people of AP through the wide reach of e-Seva centres.

At present, 40 e-Seva centres are available at twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad and the surrounding muncipalities of Ranga Reddy district. 121 service of the state, central, local governments and private sector is offered through e-Seva centres at Hyderabad.

Thirteen state government, three central government and seven private sector agencies are participating in the e-Seva bouquet of services. Since it started in August 2001, e-Seva has recorded 1.58 crore transactions and collected a value of Rs 5147.00 crores in Hyderabad.
