Global Adjustments to launch portal

Global Adjustments, a relocation service provider, plans to launch its website in the first quarter of 2006. The website is aimed at providing a glimpse into the culture, heritage and tradition of any country through snippets.

"Named as globaladjustments.com, the web portal will offer a one-year online programme for students and professionals heading overseas," Ranjini Manian, director, Global Adjustments, said while addressing a press conference.

The fee structure of the course would be decided once the portal was launched, she said.

Sue Fox, founder and president of California-based Etiquette Survival and Syndi Seid, founder of Advanced Etiquette, added that their orientation programmes are designed for professionals who want a level-playing field anywhere on the globe emphasising on communication skills.

Global Adjustments is organising seminars on business and social etiquette from December 1 to 5 in Chennai and Bangalore, Ranjini added.

The company, which is a member of the US-head-quartered Employees Relocation Council (ERC), has clients including The British Council, Deutsch Bank, Ford India Limited, Hewlett Packard, Maersk, Sansui and Tata Consultancy Services.
