"Around 2,778 post offices in Himachal Pradesh will sell BSNL mobile recharge coupons, India telephone cards, internet cards and fixed line pre paid cards," said Himachal Pradesh Postmaster General Vijayakumaran Nair.
A deal between BSNL and the postal department was signed here late Wednesday. "The postal department decided to approach us in order to reach the maximum number of people in the state," said Nair.
"The deal will help meet the socio-commercial goals of the two biggest networks and help both the state run companies grow together," he said.
The postal department will charge a commission from BSNL for selling these products to customers on its behalf.
