ICSA (India) Limited, a provider of embedded software solutions and infrastructure deployment services for the power sector, reported a 20.26 per cent decline in net profit to Rs 27.11 crore for the quarter ended March 2010, as against Rs 34 crore during the same period last year. Revenues were up 5 per cent to Rs 300.42 crore, as against Rs 286 crore.
For the full year, net profit plummeted 15.11 per cent to Rs 129.77 crore, as against Rs 152.86 crore, while revenues touched Rs 1,230.37 crore from Rs 1,100.42 crore, up 11.8 per cent. “The infrastructure division, which gives less margins, did more business while the contribution from our technology division came down drastically — from 30:70 last year to 66:33 this year,” said ICSA CMD G Bala Reddy.
