InfxQ may control IknowTech

InfxQ Systems, a US-based BPO company is likely to acquire majority control in Bangalore-based InKnowTech Systems, which offers similar services. It focusses on remote network and IT infrastructure management services, technical support services and transaction processing services.
 
This acquisition is being made by InfxQ's Indian subsidiary, InfxQ Knowledge Services, in a cash transaction of close to Rs 5 crore.
 
InknowTech, started by B G Balakrishna, earlier president & CEO of Aztec Software, provides remote IT and network management services. Balakrishna however declined to comment on the deal. The company has close to 100 people and has a topline of around Rs 5 crore and is yet to make profits.
 
It is understood that the deal is being backed by Charter Ventures which is among the top VCs in the US.
 
Partners at Charter Ventures are learnt to have set up InfxQ as a company to offer services, among others, to Charter's investee companies. When a Charter-funded company outsources its network and remote management services to InfxQ, the work will be offshored to InfxQ's Indian subsidiary with access to InknowTech Systems.
 
IknowTech is a network and communication management company, providing services and support to global telecom service providers and enterprises. As a service management centre in Bangalore, the company provides 24x7 support to cater to the its clients globally.
 
According to IknowTech, it offers a range of services to manage the entire lifecycle of IT and communication infrastructure to cover planning, designing, deployment, and management.
 
IknowTech is leveraging the convergence of telecom and networks which has resulted in intelligent networks.
 
This allows companies to create a seamless enterprise information infrastructure by connecting internal and external components, making it simpler for businesses to work together seamlessly and it is in this space, IknowTech offers its services which include business consulting and solutions, IT service management besides remote management and tech support.
