The BPO service provider is scouting for acquisitions both in the domestic and international markets. At present, the Mumbai-based company, has a strength of 5,000 FTE.
The BPO major is to ramp up its FTE strength to 20,000 in the next four years, while the immediate addition would be around 5,000 by 2007, Intelenet Global chief executive officer Susir Kumar, addressing a press conference, said.
The ramping up of FTE strength would be in line with the company's intention to set up units in major cities such as Pune, Bangalore, Mysore and Coimbatore. He, however, did not provide any specific details of investment or time-frame.
Intelenet, which offers banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), telecom, retail and accounting services, is also looking at acquiring companies both in the domestic and international markets.
